DESIGN PROCESS

My standard design process is very similar to my user experience design process, with a couple of different steps.

DEFINE

Define the problem and what goal is trying to be reached. Making sure that there is a clear understanding between everyone is crucial to successfully move on in the process.

RESEARCH

Gathering more information, requirements and inspiration. My favorite sources are Medium, Pinterest, Dribbble, and Designspiration.

BRAINSTORM

This step involves getting creative and thinking of the best way to solve the problem. This is my favorite step because I get to think of multiple scenarios and narrow them down to best choice.

CREATE

With the help of wire-frames, comps, and creating prototypes with InVision, these are just some ways to help communicate more efficiently the ideas and the vision for the client to get closer to the goal.

FEEDBACK

Presenting the design to the client and communicating with them to ensure you are on the right track is very important.

IMPROVE

If there was a miscommunication or some changes were decided at the last minute, that is all part of the process. Design is forever changing and being able to adapt and react quickly is important.
